Guide
How to import a Sales Navigator search as leads
Build your search in Sales Navigator, copy its address, and paste it into the Sales Navigator tab of the LinkedIn import in Sellinger. Set Max leads, up to 2,500 for one run, choose where the leads go and start. The connected account must have Sales Navigator.

Before you start
- Connect the LinkedIn account that has the Sales Navigator subscription. See how to connect LinkedIn.
- Build and save the search in Sales Navigator first. Narrow it until the first page looks right.
- Know which kind of search it is: people (the address contains /sales/search/people) or companies (/sales/search/company).
Steps
- 1
Step 1
Open the LinkedIn import
Click Add Leads in the sidebar and open the LinkedIn import (the Find Leads LinkedIn page).
- 2
Step 2
Pick the account
Choose the connected LinkedIn account that will run the search. An account that has Sales Navigator shows a Sales Navigator badge.
- 3
Step 3
Choose the Sales Navigator tab
Open the Sales Navigator tab, then switch the input to Search URL.
- 4
Step 4
Paste the search link
Paste the address of your search from the browser, for example one that contains /sales/search/people. Sellinger recognises it as a Sales Navigator people search.
- 5
Step 5
Set the size
Drag Max leads. It runs from 50 to 2,500 in steps of 50, and starts at 300.
- 6
Step 6
Choose where the leads go
Start the run. In the Lead destination dialog choose unassigned or a campaign, optionally a segment, and give the import a name.
- 7
Step 7
Check the result
Open the leads page and filter by the import. Read a few profiles to check that the search returned the people you meant.
Which links work
| Link contains | What it is | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| /sales/search/people | Sales Navigator people search | Accepted as a Sales Navigator search |
| /sales/search/company | Sales Navigator company search | Accepted as a Sales Navigator company search |
| /sales/lead/ | One Sales Navigator lead | Not a search. Use the Single URLs mode instead |
| /in/ or /pub/ | A personal profile | Not a search. Use the Single URLs mode instead |
Single URLs mode takes up to 25 profile links at a time and creates one lead per link.
Limits and what can go wrong
- One run imports at most 2,500 leads. The app shows no daily cap for imports, but a very large search is better split into several narrower ones.
- If the connected account does not have Sales Navigator, LinkedIn refuses the search and the import fails at the account level. Use the Classic tab and a normal search link instead; see the LinkedIn search import guide.
- People who are already in your team are not added twice. See why a CSV import skips rows as duplicates, which covers the same rules.
- Sales Navigator results show people who match, not people who want your offer. Check the first messages before you send widely.
How much this import is used
This import is one of several ways to bring in leads, and in the 90 days to 19 October 2026 one team used it. Most teams import from the contact database or a CSV file. Read this guide as a description of what the screen does, not as a measure of results.
