Guide
How to import a normal LinkedIn search as leads
Run your search on LinkedIn, copy the address, and paste it into the Classic tab of the LinkedIn import in Sellinger. Set Max leads, up to 2,500 for one run, choose where the leads go and start. No Sales Navigator is needed.

Before you start
- Connect a LinkedIn account. See how to connect LinkedIn.
- Run the search on LinkedIn first and check that the results look right. The address must contain /search/results/people/ for people or /search/results/companies/ for companies.
Steps
- 1
Step 1
Open the LinkedIn import
Click Add Leads in the sidebar and open the LinkedIn import (the Find Leads LinkedIn page).
- 2
Step 2
Pick the account
Choose the connected LinkedIn account that will run the search. Any connected account works.
- 3
Step 3
Choose the Classic tab
Open the Classic tab, then switch the input to Search URL.
- 4
Step 4
Paste the search link
Paste the address of your search from the browser, for example one that contains /search/results/people/. Sellinger recognises it as a classic people search.
- 5
Step 5
Set the size
Drag Max leads. It runs from 50 to 2,500 in steps of 50, and starts at 300.
- 6
Step 6
Choose where the leads go
Start the run. In the Lead destination dialog choose unassigned or a campaign, optionally a segment, and give the import a name.
- 7
Step 7
Check the result
Open the leads page and filter by the import. Read a few profiles to check that the search returned the people you meant.
Getting a better list
- A normal LinkedIn search shows fewer results and fewer filters than Sales Navigator. Use the filters for location, current company and title to keep the list narrow.
- Start with a small Max leads value, such as 50, read the profiles, then run the full import.
- A personal profile link is not a search. Use the Single URLs mode for up to 25 profiles at a time.
- Imported people are not contacted until a campaign owns them and its agent starts. Choose the destination with that in mind.
Other ways to add leads
If you want filters LinkedIn does not offer, search the contact database instead. If you already have a list, import a CSV file. For people who showed interest, see intent signals.
