How to connect your LinkedIn account
You connect LinkedIn through a hosted login page, and Sellinger does not store your LinkedIn password. Once the account shows on the LinkedIn channel page you can set daily limits and attach it to an agent campaign.

Before you start
- You need your own LinkedIn login, and a phone nearby in case LinkedIn asks for a code.
- Use the account that will actually send, because messages go out in that person's name.
- Decide in advance whether you want a proxy. Most people connect without one.
Steps

Open the LinkedIn channel
Click Channels in the sidebar, then LinkedIn.

Start the connection
Click Connect New Account. A dialog opens. Leave the proxy option off unless you have a reason to use one (see below).

Sign in on the hosted page
You are sent to a secure login page. Enter your LinkedIn credentials and complete the captcha or two factor prompt if LinkedIn asks for one.

Return to Sellinger
After a successful login your account appears on the LinkedIn channel page, ready to be activated and attached to an agent campaign.

Check the limits
Open the account and review Daily Limits, Engagement Mode and Targeting Rules before you start sending.
What happens next
The account appears on the LinkedIn channel page with its usage for today. Attach it to an agent campaign and it will start inviting and messaging leads within the limits you set.
Good to know
- Optional proxy: the connect dialog has a Use proxy configuration (for advanced users) checkbox, so you can connect through your own proxy. Most people do not need it.
- Each account has a daily invitation limit (default 20, varied by a few each day), a weekly cap (default 150) and a quiet window with no sending (default 01:00 to 08:00 account time).
- No tool can guarantee that LinkedIn will never restrict an account. Keep volumes sensible and read LinkedIn invitation limits.
- If an account shows Needs Reconnect, for example after a password change, click Reconnect and sign in again.
