Playbooks

Sales playbooks from campaigns that ran, with the numbers

Each playbook here is the sequence, the rules and the messages of a real Sellinger campaign, next to the result it produced. Every number states its base, and every page says what did not work. Hotel pages carry a related party label.

How to read them

  • A playbook is a configuration that ran once, not a promise. Your audience and offer decide your own rates.
  • Booked is not held, and pending is not won.
  • No prices, plan amounts, revenue or deal terms appear. Prospects, guests and staff are not named.
  • Follow up counts are capped on purpose. Several studies show returns falling and negative replies rising after the second or third follow up.

Industry summaries are on the industries page. The raw studies are in the case studies.

Common questions

Can I copy a playbook?
Yes. Each page lists the steps and rules. Rewrite the messages in your own voice and offer.
Why are there no email subject lines?
The studies do not test subject lines, so none is claimed.
Which playbook should I start with?
Pick the one closest to your audience: technical buyers, partners, local owners, companies with a named risk owner, or hotels.

Sources and method

Each playbook links to its case study, which states the data date, the definitions and the limits.
