LinkedIn InMail credit planner: how far do your credits go?
Enter your Premium InMail credits, daily InMail limit, list size and how many new people you start each day. The planner estimates how many InMails are free, how many spend a credit and how many people get a connection request instead. It follows the routing Sellinger uses: the daily limit first, then Open Profile, then a credit, else a plain connection request.

Over the daily limit, or no credit left
An estimate from the routing rules in Sellinger: the daily limit first, then Open Profile, then a credit, else a plain connection request. Nothing you type leaves this page. How many credits your LinkedIn plan includes is set by LinkedIn and is not stated here.
Method: the routing it copies
- 1
1
Daily limit
When the account has sent its daily InMail limit, the person gets a plain connection request.
- 2
2
Open Profile
An Open Profile person gets an InMail and LinkedIn does not charge a credit.
- 3
3
A credit
Otherwise one Premium credit is spent while credits remain.
- 4
4
No credit
Without a credit the person gets a plain connection request with no note.
Only Premium credits are spent. Sales Navigator credits exist on some accounts, but the product does not spend them. The planner treats the Open Profile share as your own estimate: we do not publish how common Open Profile is. Read what LinkedIn InMail is in Sellinger first.
A worked example
| Result | Value |
|---|---|
| Free InMails to Open Profile people | 12 |
| Paid InMails | 30 |
| Connection requests instead | 158 (120 over the daily limit, 38 once credits ran out) |
| Credits run out on day | 4 |
| Days to work the whole list | 8 |
An estimate that assumes the Open Profile share is the same every day.
Limits
- How many credits your LinkedIn plan includes is set by LinkedIn and changes. This page states none.
- A person who is already connected gets a normal message, not an InMail.
- InMail is switched on per account and is mutually exclusive with invites that carry a note.
- Sellinger has very few InMail sends so far, so no reply rate is shown for InMail anywhere on this site.
The tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to Sellinger or stored, so it needs no account, has no rate limit and costs nothing to run.
