Template: following up after a no show
When a prospect misses a meeting, write the same day, assume something came up, and offer two new times. No guilt and no pressure. If there is no answer, one more note a few days later, then a last one. Below are the three messages.

The text
Subject: Missed you today Hi [first name], Looks like today did not work out, no problem. Would [day, time] or [day, time] be better? Same 15 minutes. [Name]
Hi [first name], happy to find another time for [topic] if it is still useful. Here is my calendar: [link].
Hi [first name], I will not keep chasing. If [topic] becomes a priority again, just reply to this email and we will find a time.
Why each line is there
| Line | Why it is there |
|---|---|
| Assume something came up | Keeps the tone friendly; most no shows are not rejections. |
| Two new times | Makes rebooking one reply. |
| Same length | Reminds them the ask is small. |
| A clear last note | Stops the chase politely. |
What it measured
No data yet. Sellinger has not measured results for this exact text, so this page makes no claim about replies, meetings or revenue. Measured campaigns are in the case studies.
When not to use it
- When they cancelled with a reason; reply to the reason instead.
- With more than three messages after one no show.
How to use it in Sellinger
Leave it to the agent, which writes each message from the lead's own data and your persona, or paste this text into a step in Flow-Maker in the campaign's configuration drawer. The step's instruction box personalises a pasted message with the lead's data, so read the first sends before you widen the campaign.
