Template: confirming a meeting and reminding the day before
A booked meeting is not a held meeting. A short confirmation that restates the reason for the call, and a personal reminder the day before, make it more likely the person turns up. Below are a confirmation, a reminder and a version that makes moving the meeting easy.

The text
Subject: Confirmed: [day] at [time] Hi [first name], Confirmed for [day] at [time] [time zone]. We will look at [the one topic they mentioned], and I will keep it to [length]. The link is in the invite. [Name]
Hi [first name], looking forward to tomorrow at [time]. I will bring [one useful thing, such as two examples from similar companies].
Hi [first name], if tomorrow no longer works, just reply with a better day and I will move it. No problem at all.
Why each line is there
| Line | Why it is there |
|---|---|
| Restate the reason | Reminds the person why they booked. |
| Keep the length | A promise of a short call is easier to keep. |
| From a person | A personal reminder is harder to ignore than a calendar alert. |
| Easy to move | A moved meeting is better than a no show. |
What it measured
No data yet. Sellinger has not measured results for this exact text, so this page makes no claim about replies, meetings or revenue. Measured campaigns are in the case studies.
Sellinger's analytics separate meetings booked from meetings held and no shows; see reading your analytics and meeting show rate.
When not to use it
- With long agendas or attachments the person did not ask for.
- With more than one reminder; that reads as pressure.
How to use it in Sellinger
Leave it to the agent, which writes each message from the lead's own data and your persona, or paste this text into a step in Flow-Maker in the campaign's configuration drawer. The step's instruction box personalises a pasted message with the lead's data, so read the first sends before you widen the campaign.
