Who contacts Canadian leads with Sellinger

The 70 teams contacted leads located in Canada. Sellinger stores no billing country, so the data says Canada is a common place to aim outreach, not that Canadian customers are common. What the teams sell follows the all customer pattern: software, IT services and AI automation, marketing services, consulting and agencies. Target titles are the usual ones: directors, founders, chief executives and managers. LinkedIn is the channel most customers use (283 of 322 teams) and email is second (75 teams).

What the law asks, in summary

Local outreach rules in summary
Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL)Commercial electronic messagesThe Government of Canada's CASL page says the law focuses on commercial electronic messages, meaning messages that encourage participation in a commercial activity, and asks businesses to obtain consent before sending them. We did not retrieve the detail of express and implied consent, identification and unsubscribe timing, so this page does not summarise them. Read the Act and the government guidance.
LinkedIn User AgreementUse of LinkedInSection 8.2 bars bots or other unauthorized automated methods, so any automation is a risk to the account. No tool can promise LinkedIn will never restrict one.

Pricing for Canadian teams

All Sellinger prices are in US dollars, on every page and at checkout. There is no Canadian dollar price list, so exchange rates and bank fees are your own. The current list: Live Chat from $19, Email from $39, WhatsApp and Instagram from $29, LinkedIn $198 per agent, bundles $249 to $1,199. Trial terms: 30 days free on messaging modules and bundles, no card. Usage modules (enrichment) start with a $10 credit. The full table is on the pricing page.

How the product handles the rules

Sellinger does not know Canadian law and does not decide it for you. It gives you controls that make common rules easier to follow. Details are in the fact register and the outreach rules.

  • Opt outs. When a contact replies with an opt out such as STOP or unsubscribe, in English, Bulgarian or German among other forms, the contact goes on the team's suppression list, the agent stops and the lead is closed out. A weak or unclear phrase never writes the permanent record: the agent stops and a person decides.
  • Suppression check before every send. Before every send on email, LinkedIn and WhatsApp, the platform checks the team's suppression list and refuses the send when the contact is on it or when the check cannot be completed.
  • Unsubscribe line for email. Cold email can carry an unsubscribe line and the standard one click unsubscribe headers (List-Unsubscribe and List-Unsubscribe-Post). It is a per mailbox setting.
  • Approval. A campaign can run in approval mode, where every message waits for a person to approve it, or send automatically. A person can take over any conversation, and the agent stops on its own when it cannot answer, for example a price it has no answer for.
  • Erasure. An erasure function takes an email address, phone number or LinkedIn address, anonymizes the matching leads in the workspace and adds the identifiers to the suppression list so the person cannot be imported and contacted again.
  • Opt out detection is documented for English, Bulgarian and German among other forms. We have not published tests for French opt out phrases, so the approval switch is the safer control for French language campaigns.

Case studies from this market

No published case study is from a Canadian company. The nearest in method is the wealth advisor referral network: 9,808 messaged, 44.8% replied and 95 calls were booked, across advisors in the UK, Europe and the Gulf. It does not break results out by country, so it is evidence for the method and not for Canadian response rates. French is among the languages the agent wrote in for the Shelly programme.
