Speed to lead for ad leads: contact Facebook and Google Ads leads while intent is hot

Someone who fills in an ad form expects a reply in minutes. Sellinger fetches Facebook lead form leads from a sheet every 60 seconds and Google Ads leads every 300 seconds, creates them as leads and lets the campaign write first, with two goals built for it. Google Ads leads default to WhatsApp as the first channel.

How Sellinger runs it in four steps

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Connect the lead source

Point Sellinger at the sheet that collects Facebook or Google Ads form leads. It reads name, email, phone and company columns and keeps the campaign name as a note.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Leads are created

The poller creates a lead for each new row, skips duplicates and tells the agent the lead came from an ad form and expressed interest.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    The agent writes first

Goal: "Respond to every inbound inquiry within 5 minutes, classify intent, and route it to the right sequence or team member."

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Follow up and convert

Goal: "Follow up with ad-sourced leads while intent is still hot, nurture their interest, and convert them into booked meetings or demos."

Facebook lead form leads are polled from a sheet every 60 seconds and Google Ads leads every 300 seconds, then created as leads and contacted by the campaign (Google Ads leads default to WhatsApp as the first channel).

What the timing really is

The reply time is the poll interval plus the time to write and send. For Google Ads that means up to 5 minutes before the agent sees the lead. The agent's own reply speed in the studies is minutes: a median of 2.3 to 2.5 minutes on LinkedIn since May 2026, and 41 seconds for the hotel's reservations agent. We have not measured end to end speed on ad leads, so no figure is promised.

Limits

  • WhatsApp limits outbound messaging, so first messages there run at a small daily volume. If you expect a large burst of ad leads, add email as a second channel.
  • Only consented leads should be contacted. Check that your form wording permits the channel you choose.
  • No performance claim is made for ad lead conversion. We have no study of it yet.

Common questions

How fast does the agent contact a new ad lead?
Facebook leads are fetched every 60 seconds and Google Ads leads every 300 seconds, then the agent writes. We have not measured the end to end time.
Which channel does the agent use first?
Google Ads leads default to WhatsApp. You can change the channel on the campaign.
Does it work with other lead sources?
Leads can also arrive by CSV, the API or webhooks. The two pollers above read sheets.
Does it dedupe leads?
The poller skips rows it has already imported.
