Event and webinar invitations: invite the right people with a concrete reason to attend
Inviting people to an event, webinar or workshop works when each invitation names a reason that fits that person and gives a registration link. Sellinger ships three events goals: event invitations, workshop seats and podcast or speaking placements. Success is counted as completed registrations. Sellinger has no published event campaign, so the page shows no rate.

Who has this job
Marketers who fill a webinar, founders who run a paid workshop, community managers with a conference table to sell. They share one problem: a list of people who may like the event, and no time to write twenty different invitations or follow up with the ones who did not register.
How Sellinger runs it
- 1
Goal
Invite qualified prospects
"Invite qualified prospects to the upcoming event: share the registration link and a concrete reason to attend, and count success as completed registrations."
- 2
Goal
Sell seats to a workshop
"Sell seats for the upcoming workshop or program: qualify fit, create urgency around limited spots, and drive completed registrations."
- 3
Follow up
A new reason, not a reminder
Default gaps start at 5 days on LinkedIn and 1 to 3 days on email. Each follow up can carry a different reason to attend. Every value is set per campaign.

Answer logistics
Date, price, recording, who else is coming. Put these facts in the knowledge base so the agent answers from them and never guesses.
Because the goal counts completed registrations, the registration link is the call to action. A related goal in the awareness category says to send interested prospects to a landing page and never a calendar link. Pick one of the two for the campaign so the agent does not mix them.
An example invitation
| Who | Message |
|---|---|
| Agent, day 0 | Hi Mark, we run a 45 minute session on [topic] on 12 November for heads of operations in [industry]. Since you lead operations at [company], I thought the part on [specific subtopic] might be useful. Registration is here: [link] |
| Prospect | Is it recorded? |
| Agent | Yes, everyone who registers gets the recording, even if you cannot attend live. |
| Agent, day 5 | Mark, a quick note: two of the three speakers are confirmed, and the third works in [industry]. Seats are open until 11 November: [link] |
Channels
LinkedIn works for individual invitations and email for a list that already knows you. Keep the first message short and keep the link out of a connection note: LinkedIn notes are short, and the agent can send the link in the first message after the person accepts. See the no note invite playbook for how a note free first request ran in a real campaign.
Result
Sellinger has no published campaign for this job yet, so the page shows no result and no rate. When a dated campaign with its denominators exists, it will be added here.
Common questions
Can it send the same invitation to everyone?
Does it count registrations?
