What this category is for

Inbound goals differ from outreach goals because the person has already shown interest. The task is to answer quickly, sort the request and decide who handles it. These six goals cover a general answer and route goal, a response time, ad leads, reply sorting, pricing questions and the moment to hand over to a person.

The 6 catalog goals, exact text

Shown as written in the product's Goals picker, category Inbound & Speed to Lead. Text in curly brackets is a blank the picker asks you to fill.
Respond and route. Priority High
Respond to inbound leads within minutes, understand their needs, qualify them, and route to the right agent or resolve directly.
Five minute response. Priority High

Ad sourced leads. Priority High

Classify replies. Priority Medium. Blank to fill: calendar link
Classify every incoming reply into defined categories and run the matching response play to drive bookings at {calendar_link}.
Pricing fast track. Priority Medium
Fast-track pricing questions: share the relevant tier immediately, and flag enterprise-sized budgets for a custom quote call.
Escalate to a human. Priority High
Escalate to a human immediately on budget, contract, or procurement discussion, frustration language, or six exchanges with no clear next step.

What each goal does

What each goal achieves, and what to watch
Respond and routeA general inbound goal: answer fast, qualify, then route or resolve.Routing to another agent only works if you have set one up.
Five minute responseSets a response time and adds an intent label.Speed depends on the account setup, not only on the wording.
Ad sourced leadsAims the agent at fresh form fills from ads, where interest fades fast.Keep it away from cold lists, where interest has not been shown.
Classify repliesTies each type of reply to its own response and a booking link. The categories are not listed in the goal. Define them in the persona or rules.
Pricing fast trackAnswers the price question instead of dodging it, and sends large budgets to a person. The agent can only quote tiers it has been given.
Escalate to a humanNames the moments a person must take over, including six stalled exchanges.Back it with human review rules so the hand off is flagged, not only described.

When to use these goals, and when not to

Use them when

  • People reach you through a form, an ad, an inbox or a chat before you write to them.
  • Speed matters, because the lead will talk to a competitor next.
  • You can say who takes over when the agent should stop.

Do not use them when

  • You write first to a cold list. Use a Book Meetings goal.
  • Nobody can take a hand off, so the escalation goal would only create a queue.
  • You do not share prices before a call. Drop the pricing goal.

What the data says

No outcome data yet. Sellinger has not measured results for this exact goal text, so this page makes no claim about replies, meetings or revenue. Measured campaigns are in the case studies.

Common questions

Does the 5 minute goal fix the reply time?
No. It is an instruction in the goal text. The actual reply time depends on the channel, the worker and the account settings.
Where do the reply categories come from?
The classify replies goal does not list them. Write the categories you want in the persona or in rules.
Can I use these goals in an outreach campaign?
You can, but they assume the lead wrote first. In an outreach campaign they fit the replies stage, not the first message.
