What is the LinkedIn connection request limit?
The LinkedIn connection request limit is the cap on how many invitations an account can send in a day or a week. LinkedIn does not publish one fixed number, and it varies by account age, history and plan. Staying well under it is the main safety habit of LinkedIn outreach.

Is there an official number?
No single figure applies to every account. LinkedIn applies limits that change with how old the account is, how many of its past requests were accepted, and whether the account has been restricted before. You find out the limit when LinkedIn blocks a send, which is the wrong way to learn it.
Because the limit is not published, any article that states one number as a fact is giving an estimate. Treat estimates as ceilings, not targets.
What is the difference between a daily and a weekly limit?
A daily limit stops a burst. A weekly limit stops steady overuse. An account that sends a little each day and stays under a weekly total looks like a person. An account that sends a large batch on Monday looks like a tool, even if the weekly total is the same.
What happens when you hit it?
- LinkedIn may refuse the next invitation and show a warning.
- Repeated warnings can lead to a restriction of the account.
- Invitations that are sent but ignored for weeks also count against you in practice, so clean out the old ones.
How Sellinger handles it
Each LinkedIn account has its own invitation limits that the agent cannot go over. The code defaults are 20 invitations a day, varied by a few each day, and 150 a week, with a quiet window with no sending from 01:00 to 08:00 account time. The daily invitation limit is a slider on the account's Limits tab under Channels, LinkedIn.
The defaults are Sellinger's, not LinkedIn's. They are a starting point, and a new or previously restricted account should run lower. No tool can promise that LinkedIn will never restrict an account.
