What is a go to market strategy?
A go to market strategy is the plan for how a product reaches its first buyers: who the customer is, what you offer, how you price it, which channels reach them and how you measure progress. It is written for a launch, a new market or a new product line.

What are the parts?
- Target customer and ICP.
- The problem and the offer.
- Pricing and packaging.
- Channels and the sales motion.
- Metrics and review dates.
What does a one page example look like?
| Part | Choice |
|---|---|
| Customer | Logistics firms with 20 to 200 staff |
| Offer | Route planning software |
| Channel | LinkedIn outreach plus referral partners |
| Goal in 90 days | 30 first calls |
| Review | Every two weeks: replies and calls |
Example for illustration. A real plan names owners and dates too.
What are common mistakes?
Choosing too many channels at once, and no review date. Pick one or two, run them long enough to read, then change.
Another is mixing up the plan with the pitch. The plan decides who, where and how you measure. The pitch is only the words used inside the plan, and you can change it weekly without changing the plan.
How Sellinger handles it
Sellinger does not write your positioning or pricing. It helps with the outreach part. The goal library holds 9 book meetings goals, 6 qualify and convert goals, 6 inbound goals and 3 partnerships goals among its categories, so you start from a stated aim rather than a blank page. The platform runs LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, Instagram and live chat from one place.
Two published motions are worth reading: referral partner outreach, with the wealth advisor referral network case study, and signal based outreach. See also outbound sales.
