Who should choose which
Choose Dux-Soup if
- you want a seat tool you can run on your own computer, with the LinkedIn session staying on that machine.
- you want to bring your own ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini key and choose the model that reads your replies.
- you want native Salesforce, Pipedrive or Freshsales connections today.
- you run an agency and want unlimited client accounts under per day metered billing.
Choose Sellinger if
- you want the agent to write each message and handle each reply, without paying a model provider separately.
- you do not want to keep a computer on for outreach to continue.
- you want email, WhatsApp, Instagram replies and live chat added to LinkedIn.
- you want a contact database, intent signals and a CRM with deals in the same product.
Monthly cost for one seat, five seats and twenty five
Per seat, Dux-Soup costs less. One seat belongs to one LinkedIn account, and a Sellinger LinkedIn agent adds the writing and the replying. Dux-Soup runs its AI features through your own API key, billed to you by that provider.
All prices are monthly list prices in US dollars for the local desktop mode, from the help center, before any volume discount. Agency Flexible seats have minimums, so the larger rows depend on the plan.
| LinkedIn accounts | Dux-Soup local seats | Sellinger LinkedIn agent |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | $55 | $198 |
| 5 | $275 (5 seats at $55) | $890 (5 agents at $178) |
| 25 | $1,375 (25 seats at $55) | $4,200 (25 agents at $168) |
Desktop or cloud, and what the limits are
Dux-Soup lists defaults of 20 connection requests and 50 messages a day, snoozes at LinkedIn's weekly cap and recommends profile visits by account type, from 50 a day on a free profile to 400 on Recruiter. Local mode needs the computer to stay on.
Sellinger uses a hosted login and keeps no password. Its default is a daily limit of 20 invitations and a weekly limit of 150, plus quiet hours overnight. A restriction by LinkedIn is possible with any tool, and nobody can promise it will not happen.
Who pays for the AI
In Dux-Soup the AI features need your own Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini key, and its pages say that usage is billed by that provider. You choose the model, and you manage the key and the cost.
In Sellinger the AI is part of the agent price. The agent can send automatically or wait for approval, and it stops and hands over when it cannot answer.
Switching between Dux-Soup and Sellinger
A Dux-Soup seat belongs to one LinkedIn account, so build the move around accounts.
- Start with a LinkedIn account that no Dux-Soup seat is attached to, and connect it in Sellinger.
- Export the leads and tags you still want and import them into Sellinger.
- Give the agent your offer in plain words, check the first drafts it writes and send to a handful of people to begin.
- After some weeks, compare replies and booked meetings for each account before you move another.
- Dux-Soup refunds are possible within 31 days of the first purchase, and post paid seats are not refundable, so time the move.
- Pause the Dux-Soup campaign before the same people are messaged from Sellinger.
