For sales leaders: approve what goes out, watch the numbers, let the setup improve under your cap

A sales leader gives up typing messages, not control. Campaigns can wait for approval before every send, a person can take over any conversation, analytics show leads, conversion, meetings and response rate against the last period, and config optimization can propose changes within limits you set: by default daily, at most 3 changes a cycle, and nothing applied without approval.

Control: approval and takeover

A campaign can run in approval mode, where every message waits for a person to approve it, or send automatically. A person can take over any conversation, and the agent stops on its own when it cannot answer, for example a price it has no answer for.

How a sales leader runs it in four steps

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Start with approval on

Every message waits for a person while you check tone. Switch a campaign to automatic sending when you are happy.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Read the numbers weekly

Analytics give total leads, conversion rate, meetings booked and response rate, each against the previous period. The connector exposes pipeline counts per stage.

  3. 3

    Step 3

Ask your assistant for the review

The weekly pipeline review recipe asks Claude to summarise wins, risks and stuck leads and to propose three actions without acting. See the MCP recipe.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Let optimization propose

Config optimization suggests changes to directions, first message, follow up count and interval and flow sequences. Leave auto approve off to review each one.

Config optimization proposes changes to a campaign (custom directions, first message, follow up count and interval, flow sequences and more). Defaults: runs daily, at most 3 changes per cycle, minimum confidence 0.7, auto approve off, and product info and inclusion and exclusion rules are excluded from changes.

Common questions

Can I approve every message?
Yes. Approval mode holds each message for review. You can switch to automatic sending per campaign.
Can my reps take over a conversation?
Yes. Any conversation can be taken over by a person, and the agent stops on its own when it cannot answer.
What reporting do I get?
KPI analytics with a period comparison, pipeline counts per stage, and a daily or weekly report email.
Will optimization change my messages without asking?
Not by default. Auto approve is off, and product info and inclusion and exclusion rules are excluded from changes.
