Prep my day in Claude: meeting briefs, hot leads and decisions to make
A morning briefing in one prompt. The assistant lists today's meetings, writes a short brief for each from the lead's conversation, shows hot buying signals, and turns pending approvals into decisions. It reads only.

What this recipe does
Four reads and one briefing. Each meeting brief covers who the person is, the context, a one line summary of the last exchange and two or three talking points from the history.
Connect the Sellinger connector first (claude.ai: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, paste https://app.sellinger.ai/api/v2/mcp). The steps are on the MCP page.
In claude.ai this is also available as the saved prompt prep_my_day, so you can start it from the prompt menu without typing.
The prompt
Prep me for today. 1. Call list_meetings from today to tomorrow with status scheduled. 2. For each meeting, call get_lead_conversation and write a brief: who they are, context, the last exchange in one line, and 2 to 3 talking points. 3. Call get_hot_leads and present the buying signals as signals, not as CRM leads. 4. Call list_approvals with status pending and summarise each as a decision: channel, who it is for and what the draft says. Present: Today's meetings, Needs attention, Decisions to make. Keep it scannable.
The exact tools it calls
| Tool | What the recipe uses it for |
|---|---|
| `list_meetings` | Today's meetings |
| `get_lead_conversation` | Cross channel history for each meeting's lead |
| `get_hot_leads` | High intent people from intent signals |
| `list_approvals` | Pending drafts and actions |
| `search_leads` | Finds the lead behind a signal, since a signal's person id is not a lead id |

What needs your approval
- Nothing. The recipe reads and summarises.
- Approving a pending message sends it at once, so use the approval triage recipe for that.
Sample output
No sample output is published for this recipe yet. It has not been run end to end in Claude or ChatGPT for this page, and we do not invent output. The tool names and what each returns are taken from the connector's tool descriptions in the product code (checked 19 October 2026). When a real run is captured it will be added here with its date.
Notes and limits
- Hot leads are signals about people who may have no lead record. Search for them by name or email before acting.
- Meeting data is as good as the connected calendar.
Common questions
Does it send anything?
What are hot leads?
Can it include my email calendar?
