What is LinkedIn automation?
LinkedIn automation is software that performs LinkedIn actions for you, such as viewing profiles, sending connection invitations, and sending messages. Some tools run as a browser extension, others from the cloud. LinkedIn's own rules restrict third party automation, so any use carries risk to the account.

What do LinkedIn's rules say?
LinkedIn's own help page on prohibited software, read 19 October 2026, says LinkedIn does not permit third party software that automates activity, and that using it can lead to restricted accounts. No tool can promise that an account will not be restricted. Keep volume low, personal and relevant. Cloud tools run while you are away and browser tools run only while your browser is open, but neither removes the risk.
How Sellinger handles it
You connect your own LinkedIn account through a hosted login and Sellinger does not store your LinkedIn password. Each account has a daily invitation limit (default 20, varied by a few each day), a weekly invitation cap (default 150) and a quiet window with no sending (default 01:00 to 08:00 account time). No tool can promise that LinkedIn will not restrict an account.
