Who should choose which
Choose PhantomBuster if
- you need data from many places, such as Google Maps, X or GitHub, and want to build the list yourself.
- you want a flat workspace price with unlimited users instead of a price per agent.
- you are comfortable assembling flows with an API, webhooks or Zapier, Make and n8n.
- you want a 14 day trial with no card, or a free plan to try small jobs.
Choose Sellinger if
- you want a finished agent that writes the opening message, follows up and answers replies, not a set of automations to wire together.
- you want an inbox and a CRM where every reply, deal and contact sits, with a two way HubSpot sync.
- your buyers are also on email, WhatsApp, Instagram or live chat, and you want a single conversation history.
- you want a database of 700M+ contacts to search without building scrapers.
Two ways of pricing the same LinkedIn work
PhantomBuster charges per workspace and limits execution time, automation slots and credits. It does not charge per LinkedIn account, so the cost of one account and of several is the same plan until you hit those limits. Sellinger charges per agent, and each agent covers one LinkedIn account.
PhantomBuster's prices were served in euros and its help center shows the same numbers in dollars. We did not convert, so read the two columns as separate price lists.
| PhantomBuster | Sellinger | |
|---|---|---|
| Price unit | Per workspace, €69 to €439 a month | Per agent, $198 each |
| Five LinkedIn accounts | One workspace plan, until execution time runs out | $890 (5 agents at $178) |
| Monthly work cap | Execution time of 20h, 80h or 300h by plan | No execution hours; daily limits on invitations |
Parts you assemble against an agent you start
With PhantomBuster you choose the extractors, the sequence of LinkedIn steps and where leads go next. That flexibility is its strength, and it means you also write the messages, watch the execution hours and read the replies in LinkedIn or your own inbox.
Sellinger starts from the other end. You state the offer and the audience, and the agent finds people, writes to each one, answers and proposes a time. A campaign can hold every message for approval if you want to read them first.
The LinkedIn session in both tools
PhantomBuster uses your LinkedIn session cookie to run in its cloud, and its limits are suggestions you set yourself. Its own pages give different advice on daily volume, between help articles and blog posts.
Sellinger connects through a hosted login, stores no password, and starts from defaults of 20 invitations a day and 150 a week, paused overnight. No tool can guarantee that LinkedIn will not restrict an account, and that holds for both.
Switching between PhantomBuster and Sellinger
Because PhantomBuster is a set of automations, moving is mostly a question of which jobs you keep there.
- List what each PhantomBuster automation does: finding people, visiting profiles, sending invites or enriching emails.
- Keep any scraping you still need there, and export the results as a CSV file.
- Connect a LinkedIn account in Sellinger, import the file and let the agent take over the invites and messages.
- Pause the matching automations so one person is not contacted twice.
- Use a different LinkedIn account in each tool while you compare, so the two do not act on the same profile.
- Execution time that runs out pauses PhantomBuster automations without an overage charge, so check what is still scheduled.
