Sellinger vs Enginy (2026): a prospecting platform or an agent that answers

The short answer

Enginy, formerly Genesy, is a platform for finding prospects, enriching them and running email and social sequences, with a price on request. Sellinger publishes plan prices and adds an agent that answers the replies, plus WhatsApp, Instagram replies, live chat and a built in CRM. Choose Enginy when list building and enrichment from many providers come first, and Sellinger when the conversations are the work.

Enginy is an all in one sales platform that covers finding people, enriching them, sequencing outreach and an inbox, and it was called Genesy before. Sellinger is an AI SDR: it writes to each buyer, handles the replies and books the meetings.

Who should choose which

Choose Enginy if

  • list building comes first and you want to describe your ideal customer in chat and get enriched contacts back.
  • you want enrichment from many data providers, with emails and phones, inside the same platform as your sequences.
  • you need your CRM connected now: Enginy lists two way updates with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho and Dynamics.
  • your team sends the messages and wants AI drafts of replies in a shared inbox with Slack alerts.

Choose Sellinger if

  • you want the agent to deal with the replies and fix the meeting time, and to hold messages for your approval when you ask.
  • you want a price you can read before a call: plans from $490 a month, all five AI colleagues in every plan.
  • you want WhatsApp, Instagram replies and live chat in one thread with LinkedIn and email.
  • you want a REST API with webhooks and a hosted MCP connector in every plan.

A price you ask for and a price you read

Enginy prints no plans on its pricing page. You give your details and it builds a custom plan, so a monthly figure cannot be set beside Sellinger here. The home page claims the platform saves four times what it costs, which is a claim and not a price.

Sellinger publishes three plans: Start at $490, Growth at $1,490 and Scale at $3,900 a month, with all five AI colleagues in every plan. There is no self serve trial open on the new plans, so you talk to us to start. Neither tool lets you test with a card today.

Where the work starts

Enginy starts from the list. Its AI Finder turns a description of the ideal customer into prospects, enrichment adds emails and phones, signals say who is moving, and sequences run across email and social steps. The inbox then helps a person answer.

Sellinger starts from the conversation. It searches a database of 700M+ contacts, uses intent signals included in every plan, and then the agent writes, follows up, answers and books. Enginy lists more named data providers, and Sellinger keeps data and conversation in one record.

What happens after someone answers

In Enginy a reply lands in the Smart Inbox, tagged by intent. When a lead shows interest the AI drafts an answer, and the pages we read do not say whether it sends one without a person.

In Sellinger the agent answers in the same thread and books the meeting on your calendar. You can set a campaign to wait for approval before anything sends, and the agent steps back and passes the thread to a person when it has no answer, for instance a price it has not been given.

Switching between Enginy and Sellinger

Moving from Enginy means moving lists, sequences and enriched data, so check what you rely on first.

  1. Export the lists, tags and open conversations you still want from Enginy before you cancel.
  2. Connect your LinkedIn account in Sellinger through the hosted login, and stop any other automation on it first.
  3. Brief the agent on the offer one time, review its first drafts and send a small batch before a wide one.
  4. After some weeks, put replies and meetings per account next to your Enginy numbers and then move the rest.
  • Enginy was called Genesy, so older exports, invoices and logins may carry that name.
  • We have not checked what Enginy exports, so keep your own copy of lists and templates.
